How Does It Work?
5 Easy Steps..
1. The art templates are delivered to school and distributed to teachers. These are thick white card - blank on one side for the artwork a form on the reverse for the child's name, title of the art, year group, etc. Over a 2-3 week period, teachers work with the children during lesson time to create a piece of individual art using the templates. The child’s details are completed on the back of each template.
2. If the school has chosen the photo option, digital photographs are taken of each child (with parental permission granted)and mailed on a memory stick back to us. See below for more info on this.
3. The completed artwork is collected by courier.
4. Personalised sample cards featuring the artwork and order forms are then delivered to the school to be distributed to parents. Parents then return their order forms which are then forwarded to us. Cheques are made payable to your school PTA and banked. Pupils keep their complimentary cards regardless of whether their parents place an order.
5.Fulfilled orders are then delivered to school for distribution to parents and the PTA is provided with a single invoice with the 10% donation deducted.
These 5 steps take approx. 6-8 weeks from start to finish.
If other family members or staff members wish to join in with the project, spare templates can be supplied.
Tell me more about the photo option
We see our greatest sales from schools that have chosen to feature a photograph of the artist on the reverse of the card. Schools take their own photographs of the children and send to us on a memory stick.
The photograph is required for the purpose of the cards note paper only and once this photograph has been used for this project, it is permanently deleted from all files. Orders may only be authorised by a Parent or Guardian.
